Our story

Before it was “Fermanagh Pride” we started off as Love Is Love, a pop-up LGBTQ+ bar in Enniskillen in March 2022. These events would happen monthly and it was at these events that the original 5 founding members first met. Noticing that there was a gap in the LGBTQ+ community for safe spaces and entertainment, Fermanagh Pride was born!

In November 2022 the official Fermanagh Pride committee was formed with the support of the 5 founding members and the local council. Since our establishment, the committee has gone from strength to strength, and has hosted a variety of successful events for the community ranging from drag shows to ceili dancing.

The variety of events aim to focus on an ethos of inclusion, diversity and offer a safe space for everyone. Fermanagh Pride has started to bridge the gap between local and wider communities and we are committed to continuing what we started.
